The Launch Sprint
We run Six Week Sprints with innovators, venture teams and innovation leaders to help them secure the funding, stakeholder support and organizational resources needed to scale validated innovations.
The Challenge
When innovation teams have validated a breakthrough idea, the hard work is just beginning. The challenge is no longer proving the idea works. The challenge is securing the resources needed for the innovation to launch and scale.
This is where many promising innovations stall. Not because the evidence is weak.
But because different stakeholders have different concerns, priorities and motivations.
So our goal is simple:
To help you secure the funding, resources, people and organizational commitment needed to scale your innovation. After working with us you will have:
- A clear roadmap to access the resources required for scale
- Strong relationships with stakeholders who control the resources
- The support, commitment and approval you need to move forward
The goal is to help you unlock key stakeholder support to move from validated innovation to a successful value proposition in the market.
Who Should Work With Us?
We have worked with innovators and transformation leaders in over 100 large and mid-sized organisations, helping them bring their breakthrough ideas to life.
Including clients like Airbus, First Command, Lufthansa-Airplus, Novartis, Pfizer, Pearson, TD Ameritrade, Sealed Air, Schreiber Foods and Standard Bank.
And this year, it could be your turn.
We work with just a handful of leaders every year, so we are looking for the right fit.
This won’t work for you if:
- You believe good ideas can succeed on merit alone.
- You think more data and analysis are the answer to every objection.
- You’re looking for a pitch deck template or communication plan.
This will work for you if:
- You have already validated your innovative idea.
- You know that access to resources depends on building relationships
- You are willing to do what it takes to create stakeholder buy-in and support.
The plan is simple
We work with innovation teams that have validated an opportunity and now need the organizational support to scale it. Our approach is based on three phases:
Resource Mapping (Week 1)
We begin by understanding what is required to move your innovation forward. Together, we identify the resources you need and the stakeholders who control them. Using The Buy-In Matrix™, we then map each stakeholders level of buy-in to understand where support already exists and where it needs to be built.
By the end of this phase you will have:
- A clear map of the resources required to scale.
- A stakeholder map showing who controls those resources.
- A benchmark of stakeholder buy-in across your organization.
Stakeholder Discovery (Weeks 2–3)
Next we focus on understanding our stakeholders. We meet with them and have conversations to understand their concerns, motivations and priorities. Our goal is to understand what stakeholders need to see and hear before they are willing to commit resources.
By the end of this phase you will have:
- A deep understanding of stakeholder motivations.
- Clear insight into the barriers to commitment.
- A stakeholder specific strategy for building support.
Secure Commitments (Weeks 4–6)
Finally, we turn those insights into action. Together we strengthen your business case, design stakeholder specific engagement strategies and start securing the commitments needed to move your innovation forward.
By the end of this phase you will have:
- Engaged each key stakeholder with a tailored strategy.
- Made clear and specific requests for the resources you need.
- Secured the commitments needed to move your innovation forward.
